Modern Physics & The Science of Energy Medicine
This course reviews the scientific evidence in support of various Qi and Energy Medicine phenomena from the standpoint of Modern Physics, the collection of new physics theories that were developed in the early 20th century including Relativity, Quantum Mechanics and related subjects. It finally puts the advanced concepts of modern physics into language accessible by the average practitioner of Oriental Medicine and other holistic healing modalities. Practical Clinical Nutrition
This course introduces modern nutritional concepts that bridge the gap between Traditional Oriental Medical theory, Western Biochemcal Nutrition, and the realities of the modern food supply that is deficient in essential nutrients and foods have been processed into biochemical forms no longer recognizable by the human body. It provides an introduction to Whole Food Nutrition and Essential Nutrient Supplementation, along with basic testing for nutritional deficiencies and food allergies. Advanced Clinical Nutrition for Acupuncturists
This course focuses on Condition-Specific diet and supplement plans for chronic illness. Chronic illness as a group is responsible for 9 of the top 10 causes of death in the U.S., and most have nutritional deficiencies as their root cause. This 4-week series reviews the whole-food diets specific for a variety of chronic illnesses, as well as reviewing the scientific data on many of the nutritional supplements available today. Approved for 32 CE units

This course surveys 49 of the major Western herbs that are in widespread use as OTC supplements and your patients may be using. It covers Western uses of traditional Chinese herbs, and presents Western herbs that are very powerful in their own right and would make a valuable addition to your clinical toolkit. Dr. Cage is a licensed Naturopathic doctor and Licensed Acupuncturist practicing in Torrance, CA. He specializes in endocrinology, gynecology and the treatment of chronic illnesses utilizing nutrition as a primary treatment modality, which he combines with Acupuncture, Herbs, Homeopathy and other natural treatment methods. He attended the Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine in Tempe, AZ, and Samra University of Oriental Medicine in Los Angeles, CA. He is a member of the California State Oriental Medical Assoc., the American Assoc. of Acupuncture & Oriental Medicine, the Price-Pottenger Nutrition Foundation, the American Association of Naturopathic Physicians, and currently serves as the President of the California Naturopathic Doctors Association
